It's out

It's out.

I Teut You So — Why Fairness Wins in Free-to-Play is on Amazon from today, in Kindle, paperback and hardcover.

In 2006 a man in Hong Kong told me to give my game away, and I flew home and got laughed out of the room. This book is the twenty years since: the laws, the dissections, the mistakes — mine and other people's — and one argument running underneath all of it. The fair games make more money, and the industry keeps needing to be shown the arithmetic.

If you've been reading the laws here and on LinkedIn, you already know what it's like. There are thirty-six of them, and in the book each one gets the story, the data and the argument that a post never has room for.

One thing I'll ask plainly, because it matters more than anything else I could do: if you read it and it was useful, leave a review on Amazon. Reviews in the first weeks decide whether Amazon shows the book to anyone at all. Twenty honest ones change everything. I'd rather ask you directly than dress it up.

And if you're not buying today, the wall chart is still free — all thirty-six laws on one A2 page, no email required.

Thank you for reading along.
